Owl is a NPC on the fishing boat, it is located on top of the mail box.
This owl was originally used to deliver letters, but nobody knows when they started to call it the Mailbox. It is always snoozing when the mailbox is empty because of the large number of letters, that gets delivered during the day and night.
Its timid nature often surprises people.

- You can also occasionally surprise the owl when it is sleeping. Doesn't seem to serve much of a purpose though.
