A

- Deflection allows you to parry a boss monster's attack with a Greatsword.
- When a boss monster attacks you, press the Smash key at the right time to parry.
- Use Ultimatum to parry enemy attacks more easily.
- If deflection succeeds, the enemy's weakness will be exposed temporarily.
- You will have more time to parry attacks at higher skill ranks.

Additional Details

Hurk-only skill.
Hurk performs an upward swing that instantly stuns a boss.
There are three ways to trigger Deflection:
- Simply press the Smash button right before the boss attacks.
  - This can be done in the middle of attacking.
  - Consumes no SP.
- Using Active: Ultimatum right before the boss attacks.
  - Consumes 250 SP.
- Triggering Impenetrable via Charge/Blockade, then pressing the Smash button.
  - Consumes 100 SP.
Triggering Deflection will apply Onslaught to the next few smash attacks and will also reset the cooldown of Active: Judgment.
